Angela met students from Woodlands School when they visited Parliament last week.
The students were given a guided tour of the building and saw a debate from the public gallery of the House of Commons. They worked on their own new law, seeing the different stages it takes before legislation is passed.
Angela spoke about her role as their MP and answered questions about her work.

Angela Smith has welcomed First bus company's decision to restore the No 25 route from Basildon town centre up to Basildon hospital.
This is an issue Angela has raised on behalf of constituents for the past two years, and included a petition from local residents.
Concern was also expressed about the withdrawal of the No 12 bus, but Angela has received assurances that the Nos. 2 and 22 will increase in frequency to cover this, with no loss of service. |
